MARTA LÓPEZ GIL
Marta López Gil is a professor and researcher at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is Director and professor of Master Studies in Contemporary Thought at CAECE/Academia del Sur, Buenos Aires and a postgraduate professor at several National Universities. She taught one of the courses on metaphysics at the School of Philosophy and Literature, UBA. Her current interests are centred on a thorough analysis of culture. Proof of it are her books: Filosofía, modernidad, posmodernidad (Philosophy, Modernity, Postmodernity) (1990), La tecnociencia y nuestro tiempo (Tech-science and our Times) (in collaboration with Liliana Delgado, 1990), Obsesiones filosóficas de fin de siglo (Philosophical Obsessions at the End of the Century) (1993), De camino a una ética empresarial) (Towards a Business Ethics) (in collaboration with Liliana Delgado, 1996), El cuerpo, el sujeto, la condición de mujer (Body, Subject, Womans Condition) (1999), Zonas filosóficas. Un libro de fragmentos (Philosophical Zones. A Book of Fragments) (2000), y La tecnociencia y mi PC. Un libro de fragmentos (Tech-science and my PC. A Book of Fragments) (2000), all of them published by Biblos. She also edited Fuera de quicio. Literatura, arte y pensamiento de mujeres excepcionales (Getting on our nerves. Literature, Arte and Thought of Exceptional Women) published by Adriana Hidalgo Editora, Buenos Aires, 2000. Her essays are included in over twenty volumes, published in Argentina and abroad, and she has received the Research Award granted by UBA on several occasions.
